With romaine lettuce on sale this week, make all your favorites
that include this nutritious green. Of course you can make salads, but there
are also many other ways to incorporate this vegetable into your meals as well.
Make mayo-based chicken or egg salad and scoop it into a lettuce leaf for a
healthy low-carb lunch! Make BLTs for dinner using the “L” as the bread for a
gluten-free option. You can even blend a couple of leaves into your morning
smoothies for breakfast. This way you get even more of those good vitamins and
nutrients to help get you through the rest of the day!
